Thank you

We’re so lucky to have so many wonderful friends around the world. Just as we’re trying to get used to life without my brofur Peppar we got a surprise package in the post and inside was the most beautiful gift. It was a portrait of Peppar that someone on Instagram (@pawtraitbykiki) had made and sent to us so we can always see his sweet face and remember him. It’s beautiful, it’s gorgeous and it’s extremely thoughtful. Mummy and daddy say that it’s captured him perfectly, his cheeky face and big kind eyes. He is now sitting in pride of place watching over us all.

That someone could send something as beautiful as this gift to me and my family made me sit back and think. It kept playing on my mind when I was drifting off to sleep, I couldn’t stop thinking about how someone so very far away, who I’ve never met before, did such a lovely thing for our family. I think mummy picked up on this playing on my mind, when we went for walkies mummy said “Isn’t it amazing Jenny, there’s just some truly kind people in this world who just do things because they like being nice and bringing happiness to others when they need it.” I thought that I really must try to follow this same way of being, so I must carry on sharing my stories, hoping to bring you a little ray of happiness each week, my way of sharing the joy of my life, the happiness that I have found here in my furrever home. A little way of giving you a reason to escape into my world each week and sharing my adventures with me.

I feel so lucky that so many people want to read about my life and adventures. That a poorly little ex street cat from Cyprus could have so many friends who are genuinely interested in what I get up to is just so amazing. I feel so blessed that I can spread the word, along with Angelin, about what us blindies can do along with the occasional appearance by my sisfur Millie showing what tripaws cats can do as well. Knowing that my stories can help brighten your day and bring a smile to your face, that makes me feel really good and each and every week it’s my way of saying thank you for being my friend and following me.

So my post today is really just to say thank you to everyone. Thank you for thinking of us, thank you for being our friend, thank you for your kindness, thank you for your generosity, thank you for your love, thank you for reading about my life, thank you for enjoying my stories.
