This week was a special week, it was my little sister Millies birthday. Much like me though as she’s a rescue cat it’s her guesstimate birthday but of course we celebrate it anyway. Her birthday was on 1st April which really suits her as she loves to play the part of the complete and utter fool, she’s a kitty clown, a big furry, floofy goof ball, always doing crazy stuff and making us all giggle and laugh every day. She is a truly crazy ginger girl who, when she’s in full mental Millie zoomie mode is like a ginger tornado whirling through the flat. We love you, you big floofy, crazy ginger girl.

As it was her special day I let her be queen for the day, I let her be in charge, we played whatever she wanted to play and did what she wanted to do. We played all day, running and chasing each other, climbing up and down the scratching posts, pretending we were running through the forests, climbing the highest mountains and being true wild cats. As it was a special occasion I even let her chase me which I don’t normally like, I didn’t even teach her a lesson when she pounced on me and bit my bum!

Millie got a new set of her favourite nobbly ball toys for her birthday, so she spent lots of time playing her favourite game with daddy. The game is called fetch the nobbly but it’s mostly mummy who does the fetching whilst daddy does the throwing and Millie does the chasing whilst forgetting about the bringing it back bit. Well, the thrill is in the chasing after all. Sometimes she sits on the small table and when daddy bounces the ball she whacks it back with her giant paws – you’d better watch out as she gets some force in those shots and you neve quite know which way they’re gonna go. Daddy says she’s like a pro tennis player, serving an ace – whatever that means! All I know is I’m never sure where the nobbly is heading so best to stay out the way.
Thank catness Millie isn’t queen everyday, it would be complete chaos all the time and nothing would ever get done. As a special treat mummy and daddy gave us some extra special tuna food for dinner and they also gave us all our first ever time with something called catnip. Wow catnip is just amazing, I don’t know what it is but I love it and so did Millie, Angelin wasn’t too fussed with it but Millie was rolling around in it getting it all in her fur, I got some sprinkled on the scratching post which made me just wanna roll around up there and lick the platforms I was lying on. We all got very hyper and a little bit over excited – well, ok, a lot over excited. Peppar has had catnip before and doesn’t like it very much so he just left us girls to our madness.

I also wanted to say goodbye to a friend of mine, one of the little humans who taps on the window every time mummy and I go for walkies. Mummy was talking to her daddy and he said they are leaving to go and live somewhere else. Well, don’t be scared of going somewhere new, I’ve done it, when I came to my furrever home and it was the best thing ever, if I can do it you can too my little friend. I hope seeing me outside on my walkies has made you happy and brought you some joy. I hope that you remember me in your new home and that you might find another cat to be friends with. I’m sorry that you never got meet each other because of this nasty virus 🦠 as it would have been nice for you to give my soft fur a nice stroke, pet me and say hello properly. Hearing you tapping on your window, knowing you were there watching me enjoy running around, chasing things and climbing trees made me feel happy. Hearing you say “Goodbye Jenny” whilst giggling was so lovely, thank you for being my friend and sharing my adventures little human.
Happy Easter everyone, mummy says I’d make a great Easter bunny coz of my giant ears and you’ve all seen my bunny hopping skills, hopping through the spring flowers.
Happy birthday Millie my crazy little sisfur, you might annoy me sometimes but I’m so happy you’re part of the family, I love you loads you big snuggle monster.
