We know that mummy and daddy are really busy with human stuff everyday so we do try to help out. Plus, nobody likes doing chores so we try to help mummy and daddy with those as well so they get done quicker, and of course better with our supervision.
I’ve been helping mummy sort clothes, when the man came to treat the moths mummy had to put everything in bags and then needs to wash them all before putting them back in the cupboards. She said it would be a good time for her and daddy to have a good clear out so I’ve been helping with that. Sorting this bag and that bag and making sure mummy knows what’s in each of them. What’s in that bag mummy? No, do this one first. Even Millies been helping out by scratching at the bags so mummy can see what’s in side. Gradually with my help the piles are getting less and less and the one that mummy says is for the charity shop is getting bigger.

Millie likes helping with the washing, she helps mummy make sure it’s all properly folded and sorted and ready to put away. We all know that clean clothes are by far the best place to sleep and nothing is ever quite right about clothes that don’t have at least some fur on them. With all the things in bags needing to be washed there’s lots of washing to supervise so we’re very busy.

Sometimes though I think there’s enough going on and mummy and daddy need a break from working and so our job can sometimes be to stop them from doing chores and have a rest. This weekend I snuggled up on the bed, it’s not a normal place for me to curl up but I just wanted mummy to have a break. I miss snuggling with Peppar when he used to curl up on mummy’s pillow and so I was so happy when Millie came and curled up with me. She’s not Peppar but all her long floofy fur makes a lovely warm place to have a sleep. We stayed there just long enough for mummy to not bother to change the sheets today so we’ll help her tomorrow. There’s nothing more fun than chasing the edges as mummy pulls them this way and that, it’s like indoor leaf chasing.

Then after we’ve been for walkies and mummy and daddy have had dinner we sit on them so they have to stay on the sofa and relax. Sometimes we all pile on mummy, sometimes we spread out and sit on mummy and daddy at the same time so they both relax together.

Then, just to make the week extra special and a real treat for Halloween we received the most amazing gift, a beautiful portrait of Peppar. My sweet angel brofur has become the best thing I could have ever wished for. Plus there was some amazing hearts seeds which mummy and daddy said we can plant in the spring and then the pretty flowers will remind us all of him watching over us. I love smelling flowers so I can’t wait to help mummy dig the planters to plant Peppar’s love flowers 🌸 🌺. I know Peppar would love this as he was a complete hippy cat at heart.

Aww that was lovely jenny, you’re so considerate and amazing helping mammy and daddy, and supervising of course, can’t wait to next week, love you all xxxx
