Can you believe it! It’s been three years since I arrived here in my furrever home, late in the evening after a journey that seemed to take an eternity, a scared, exhausted little blind kitten. I didn’t know what the future would hold for me but if only I knew then what I know now, I found the best home a kitty could ask for. Fast forward three years and here I am, a full on adventure cat, a master tree climber with two little perfectly imperfect sisfurs, my big brother Peppar and responsibility as the Queen of the family.
We had some sad times along the way with the loss of my big sister Mia but that gave way to happiness (eventually after a very rocky start) with the addition to our family of my little sisfurs Millie and Angelin. Mummy and daddy say that us girls are “as thick as thieves” whatever that means but we get on so well and we all love playing together, fighting and occasionally snuggling together too. Peppar is my best buddy though, he gives me so much support and I’m the only one allowed to snuggle with him in his snuggle bed or on mummy’s lap and he doesn’t even mind when I snuggle right on top of him.

Three years of feeling love, kindness, family, safety, warmth, play, what more could any cat want? Well for me it gets even better, not only do I have all of that I have a mummy and daddy who saw my potential and spotted my inner adventure cat spirit and let me embrace it. They even encouraged that inner adventure spirit to come out so we could explore the outdoors together! My mummy and daddy are extra special people, I know that many ‘normal’ cats don’t get to do half the things I do and go out on adventures with their mummy’s, certainly Peppar doesn’t get to have all these adventures, he’s happy just playing indoors. So not only do I have a wonderful indoor life with climbing posts and snuggle beds, cat superhighways across the furniture but I also get to be free outdoors too and do all the things I love like climbing, hunting, and chasing the insects and of course outside zoomies. Who would have thought that a little blind street cat would end up going out for walks!
All week I’ve been celebrating my adoptaversary, mummy and daddy said I could do all of my favourite things, so we had pizza 🍕 with my favourite olive topping, I was allowed an extra helping because it’s such a special occasion. I also got a present 🎁, I love presents and when mummy and daddy helped me open it inside was a beautiful new giant pawty bow tie to add to my stylish collection. What a lucky kitty I am to be given such nice things to wear when I go out on walkies. A girls gotta look her best after all.

We’ve gone out early for walkies so we can have an extra long time outside and that just makes me so happy, I can explore and run around in the fresh air and play in the flowers which smell so nice. I know from last years that once the flowers come out the little insects soon follow but for now I’m just happy jumping around in the flowers. Mummy says I’m like the Easter bunny mixed with Tigger. Well maybe I’m half bunny as mummy says I already have the big bunny ears!
I can’t imagine how my life could be any better, I certainly wouldn’t change a thing, not even my first hard life back in Cyprus, without that I wouldn’t be where or who I am now. I love my life and live every day the best that I can, I can’t believe that I was so lucky that my mummy and daddy chose to adopt me and that I’m allowed to so many ameowzing things.

Daddy told me that today is also mummy’s day so I want to just say Happy mummy’s day to my mummy. She is the person who takes me for walkies, cleans up my 💩 and who encourages me to explore more and to keep challenging myself. She reassures me if I get nervous or scared and she’s always there for me. Whatever mummy does I’m right there by her side helping her, we do everything together, she is my best friend and I love her lots. To show her how much we love her us girls all gave her a big cuddle on her special day, mummy was very happy with this as it meant daddy had to wait on her as she couldn’t move.

I don’t know what the future holds but whatever it is as long as it’s with my family I’m a happy girl.
